Bailey Island is located at the tip of the Harpswell Peninsula in Maine. As you leave the island, crossing over the tiny bridge you will be faced with this lovely typical Maine seacoast scene. I came across this scene late in the afternoon in October and the light was stunning…the scene was begging to be painted.
