2013 Pittsfield Parade Poster
2013 Exhibit Schedule
(Updated on May 18, 2013)
April – the official 2013 Pittsfield Parade Poster will be announced later in April. Once that happens, I’ll make sure the image can be seen here and on facebook. Last year was my first year as “poster artist” with a theme of “Movie Classics”. This year the theme is “Americia the Beautiful – Land that I Love”.

St Francis Gallery on Route 102 in South Lee will be hosting a landscape show with multiple artists participating. I will have two new pieces in the show, plus reproductions of some of my older landscapes will also be available there. Opening date and reception TBA.
Hancock Shaker Village – Poultry House Gallery will host a group show called : “SHAKER VIEWS – through the artist’s eyes”. Opens Memorial Day weekend, runs through August. I will have 3-5 new works in this show. Seven artists are participating in this exhibit. New this season, the gift shop at the village is now carrying my reproductions and cards.
June – month-long group exhibit entitled Fresh: From Farm to Gallery at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Ave, Pittsfield. Reception: Friday, June 7, 5-8 pm during Pittsfield’s First Friday Artswalk. I hope to be there from about 5-6:30 pm.

August – PASSPORTS – month-long solo exhibit at Gallery 25, 25 Union Street, Pittsfield. I plan to be showing many new paintings based on travels both near and afar. Wolf Moon Rising
Wolf Moon Rising is my second entry into the Berkshire Art Association’s RAP and Raffle to be held on February 20, 2013 during Pittsfield’s 10 x 10 Winter Arts Festival. This painting is a watercolor, 10″ x 10″ in size with a 1″ mat and dark frame. To learn more about this event, and all the 10 x 10 activities, visit http://discoverpittsfield.com/10×10/.
Balloons For BAA
After taking a holiday break, I have returned to my studio. It’s been a while since I really concentrated on COLOR…so here are some funky balloons that were painted with liquid watercolor pigments and ink. This small painting (10″ x 10″) is my entry into the Berkshire Art Association 10×10 RAP (“Real Art Party”) and Fundraising Raffle to be held at the Berkshire Museum on February 20, 2013. Everyone who purchases a raffle ticket is guaranteed to go home with an original piece of art….there are only as many tickets sold as there are pieces to be raffled. All of the pieces are displayed for all to see, and when your number is called, you get to pick your painting.
Not bad for just $25 and all for a great cause…plus, it is GREAT FUN!!!
